Credits & pricing
Every plan grants a monthly credit balance. Requests debit it per the cost
table; the response header X-Credits-Remaining always shows what
is left.

If a plain fetch is blocked and we escalate to the browser tier for you, the difference (4 credits) is charged after the page is served.
Stored media
Files (images, video, audio) are the one thing priced by size, because size is what they actually cost us to move and to keep. A media fetch costs 2 credits for the request plus 1 credit per megabyte stored, rounded up to the next whole megabyte. A 200 KB image is 3 credits; a 100 MB video is 102.
The byte charge is taken before we upload anything, so a file you cannot afford is never stored and never billed. If the store fails for any reason, the whole request is refunded.
Single file limit: 1024 MB. Per-account stored total:
50 GB. Stored files are kept
until you delete them — there is no expiry — so the storage
total is yours to manage with GET /v1/media and
DELETE /v1/media/{id}. See the

with that.

The search sub-cap bounds how much of a month's balance can go to
/v1/search — fetch/extract usage is uncapped within your balance.
